Recently in Photos Category

So I had a few photos in the iPhoto Library on the laptop which needed to get imported into Aperture on the iMac. I was hoping this would be easy (and if I had just gone and booted into Target Disk mode it would have been).

The first thing I did was burn the entire Library to a DVD. I then put the DVD into the iMac and pointed Aperture at the DVD when it asked me for the location of the iPhoto Library. It was not happy with that idea at all. So I had to import the photos into iPhoto from the DVD and then import them into Aperture.

Don't waste your time doing it that way.

I've posted all the random photos worth posting at the flickr. I've left the file name as the title, so if you need a higher resolution version for printing just let me know which shot and I can hook you up.

Say goodbye to Greasemonkey hacks for putting location data on your photos. All your locations are belong to Flickr and it is good.

For once it actually worked. I'm amazed. I went to San Francisco for my birthday, I took pictures, I posted them to flickr and all most of the people that needed to see them saw them.

I love it when a plan comes together.

Now if I could just get more people into last.fm my plan for world domination a global frequency (tuned to me of course) could be realized.
