Well it looks like Bush will once again bring his focus back to Osama since the Iraqi Adventure is going not excellent. It's all good though, The Mustache was a bad man, see he skimmed profits from the Oil4Food program! The war was justified! We swear! EVIL!
As if anyone needs to be convinced that The Mustache was a prick. WTF mate?
But hey, we love democracy so much we invaded Iraq for it. Of course, in Haiti, which we don't want to invade, again, we would rather the elected president step down. WTF mate? Oh you say because he was a thug too, so the elections didn't really count. Got it. Say, what about...never mind...we shall not go there right now.
I want to be like Bush. So I'm going to stop reading the papers. Can somebody please volunteer to filter the news for me? You have to be unbiased of course, like Rummy or Condi or even Andy Card.
BOB SLYDELL So what you do is you take the specifications from the customers and you bring them down to the software engineers?
TOM That, that's right.
BOB PORTER Well, then I gotta ask, then why can't the customers just take the
specifications directly to the software people, huh?TOM Well, uh, uh, uh, because, uh, engineers are not good at dealing with
customers.BOB SLYDELL You physically take the specs from the customer?
TOM Well, no, my, my secretary does that, or, or the fax.
BOB SLYDELL Ah.
BOB PORTER Then you must physically bring them to the software people.
TOM Well...no. Yeah, I mean, sometimes.
BOB SLYDELL Well, what would you say… you do here?
TOM Well, look, I already told you. I deal with the goddamn customers so the engineers don't have to!! I have people skills!! I am good at dealing with people!!! Can't you understand that?!? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!!!!!!!

Gay-Marriage Fight Finds Ambivalence From Evangelicals

Ah...
The Campus Wellness Center is having a memory enhancement seminar next week. I wonder how many people will forget to go?
Enhance your memory! Learn valuable TRICKS, TIPS, and TOOLS to improve your study skills. Presented by Dr. Winzenz of the Psychology Department, Wednesday, March 3 from 5 to 6 p.m. in Plumas 102.
Yes, it's an election year and the mailing lists pundits, mostly myself, are off and running. Well, sitting...frantically typing our carefully crafted thoughts to put others in their subservient place in relation to our own superior ideas of life and politics. Yeah. Anyway, two topics that have gone around so far.
- Guns
- Gay Marriage
The score so far?
Inevitably you will be asked to provide a time estimate for something you have never done before. A quick discussion on irc led to some good formulas.
Estimate how long you think it will take, double it, and then up the unit; if you don't think that applies to you, then multiple by 4 instead of 2. So if you think it's going to take 8 hours, then you get 8 hours -> 16 hours -> 16 days. Unless you think that can't possibly apply to you, because you're so good, you get 8 hours -> 32 hours -> 32 days
Mine was:
( (time you think)*2 + (time you think)/2 + (time you think)%2 )
Obviously I was being too conservative.
Overhead on KCHO North State Public Radio (paraphrased):
"Even with the 8% rate cut, California public utility rates are still 28% higher than they were before deregulation. Yeah, that went well."

Speaking of snarky, it isn't exactly the question of the day, but Get Fuzzy does ask a question that's been on my mind.
In an e-mail Greg explained his new take on America as a whole.
"The more I think about it, the more I am convinced that the U.S. is exactly like Psycho in Stripes."
Psycho: The name's Francis Sawyer, but everybody calls me Psycho. Any of you guys call me Francis, and I'll kill you.
Leon: Ooooooh.
Psycho: You just made the list, buddy. Also, I don't like no one touching my stuff. So just keep your meathooks off. If I catch any of you guys in my stuff, I'll kill you. And I don't like nobody touching me. Any of you homos touch me, and I'll kill you.
Sergeant Hulka: Lighten up, Francis.
I'm pretty sure everyone else thinks we're Psycho too.
So in our front yard, across the street, is the Lindo Channel. It acts mainly as flood control for Big Chico Creek which, amazingly enough, runs through downtown Chico.
So when it rains, a lot of water is diverted down our way. Our house is pretty safe though. If the water is high enough to get to our house, then the rest of Chico is already washed away.
I've written too much about this already. But I want everyone who cares about this issue, pro or con, to read this transcript of Larry King Live. At the end, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsome summed it very nicely.
KING: Mayor, did you realize the firestorm that would happen when you did this?
NEWSOM: You know, not going into it, but looking back, of course, because people just want what I have, and that's respect and dignity to live -- to be able to live together in a bond and loving relationship, to have the same privileges and obligations that I do as a married man, and that to me is affirming life, affirming humanity, and affirming family, and it's the kind of a world that I think we all want to live in eventually, and I hope that there's a day we look back with disbelief at the discussion we had tonight, as we look back with disbelief at the discussion they had during the '40s, '50s and '60s on the issues of interracial marriage.
Let's look back up a bit and check out what the other side has to say.
KING: Civil union between two people.
MUSGRAVE: It's destroying the definition of marriage will do exactly that. That's why we need a federal marriage amendment, we need a federal definition to keep federal judges and state judges from forcing gay marriage and who knows what else on this country, and four judges in Massachusetts, arrogant in their black robes, should not be allowed to force gay marriage on this country.
Yes, what will those crazy judges foist upon us next? One can only wonder.
A friend summed it up over irc: "the bottom line is you're gay and we hate you."
Would you pay $5 to download all the music you want and see artists get a fair share for their hard work? The EFF thinks you will and the RIAA probably thinks you won't.
Sign me up! Where do I pay?
It's really sad that I analyze my life through West Wing quotes. But, there it is. My day:
"I will kill people today, Leo. I will kill people with this cricket bat, which was given to me by Her Royal Majesty Elizabeth Windsor, and then I will kill them again with my own hands."
And It's Surely to Their Credit
And it's not even 10am yet...
Ryan, being the stand-up guy that he is, did a quick mock-up of the scene for me.

White House Press Briefing by Scott McClellan
Q Scott, I just want to come back to where I started, because you seemed to characterize my question as asking if the President's views on marriage being between a man and a woman had changed. That's not what I asked. I was simply stating, talking about the application of his views, when did he cease seeing it as a state issue and begin seeing it as a federal issue?
MR. McCLELLAN: And again, I said that he's always viewed marriage as a sacred institution between a man and a woman. And I will keep -- I would point back to some of what he said in terms of the -- one, I'm not accepting the premise the way you stated the question -- but point back to what he said in his remarks when it came to the issue of other states having to recognize laws of other states.
Q Also, this would be the first time since the Prohibition era that a constitutional amendment had been sought that would actually restrict rights in America. Though there may be some people in this room who remembers how well the Prohibition amendment went down, does the President really want to be the first President since the Prohibition era to deny people rights?
MR. MCCLELLAN: Again, I think the President addressed this very issue in his remarks when he talked about how we are a free, just and tolerant society, and he talked about the importance of respecting all individuals, but that this is about an enduring institution of national importance.
Free, just and tolerant society...unless you're gay, or whatever else we don't like. The whole briefing is like one giant non-answer on almost every topic. I know it's nothing new for these briefings, but still it must drive reporters nuts.
Today is Grey Tuesday.
Thanks Ren!
It's time for music fans to stand up and demand change from the music industry's copyright cartel.
Tuesday, February 24 will be a day of coordinated civil disobedience: websites will post Danger Mouse's Grey Album on their site for 24 hours in protest of EMI's attempts to censor this work.
My site is always grey and I'm not hosting the mp3 files. There are plenty of people who are and they are all listed at the Grey Tuesday site. Check it out.
Kos: "I want complete dominance."
Lexrst: "... a complete disengagement by the Bush Administration in the real war on terror."
Kevin Drum: "After all, you hardly have to be a committed Buddhist to realize that material progress doesn't bring happiness."
Atrios: "The New York Times has its own rules too - thou shalt not fact check the RNC."
Whiskey Bar: "Still, I bet Condi is pissed."
Brad DeLong: "I guess being told you are the next thing to a communist because you didn't lose all four limbs in Vietnam will change someone."
Up for pre-order. Yay! Ships May 18th. Boo.
The war between the vegetarians and the Atkins people is really disgusting. I know over-weight vegetarians, so that's no sure thing. I also know people who ride the Atkins roller-coaster. I know people who do just fine of both styles of diets.
The smear on the Atkins diet because of the death of Mr. Atkins was awful. One case of heart disease does not a trend make. Most of the studies I've seen so far don't really damn Atkins more than any other diet which relies heavily on increasing or decreasing intake of particular foods. Personally I don't dig on designer diets, but I see that in some cases decreasing body weight is a "good thing" as it can reduce wear and tear on the body. Atkins in particular is very effective at shedding pounds, but with that power comes responsibility in being more vigilant about monitoring your body and how it is adjusting to your new diet. This is not me ranting at Atkins people, just a call to be careful.
What bugs me about all the designer diets is that they sell a false bill of goods. They try and say that you will get something (weight loss) for nothing but changing your eating habits. Now while you can point out that on every diet it has all the standard crap about see a doctor, exercise is good, blah blah blah, that isn't really what they are selling. They are trying to sell you on being healthy with the least amount of effort possible. Now I'm sure finding hot sauce with no sugar in it can be a lot of effort, you know what I really mean. Preying on the idea that our society can make things effortless. Look at all the 5 minute a day workout tapes or 15 minute a day home gym systems. Diet supplement pills, which are even worse than designer diets in my eyes, is what the weight loss industry is trying to sell. Something for nothing. The people that fail usually put in nothing. The people that succeed put in a lot of effort to make sure they reach their goals. That's all I'm really trying to say. It will take a lot of effort to reach your goal, whatever it is.
Weight loss, looking at it from a simple view point is burning more than you take in, or starving yourself (technically, not literally). The body most burn its stored resources to function there by you loose weight.
You know what's really great at burning those resources? Exercise. You know what else is a good idea? Checking in with a doctor. My father in-law wanted to drop a few pounds and thought Atkins would be good. He went to check with his doctor, who knew about his diabetes and said he should try a mod of the Atkins called The South Beach diet since it would fit in better with his diabetes.
Health is a balance of diet and exercise and mental state and millions of other things that aren't exactly well documented. Don't think you can get something for nothing. Don't think that not eating meat makes you healthy. Don't think that running 15 miles every day will make you healthy. Every body is different. Know your body and work with it. Me? Hacker Diet, which isn't comparable to the designer diets in that it says you should watch your intake/output and adjust them according to your goals. Oh and get off your but and exercise once in a while.
In all the hoopla over the inevitable Nader '04 campaign, I found this sound bite from Mr. Nader a bit odd.
"It's a marvelous demonstration by liberals, if you will, of censorship," he recently told National Public Radio. "Running for political office is every American's right. Running for political office means free speech exercise, it means exercising the right of petition, the right of assembly. And so when they say, 'Do not run,' they're not just challenging and rebutting -- they're crossing that line into censorship."
Screw Ralph. When I say 'Do not run' I am not censoring Mr. Nader. I'm expressing an opinion, my own, which he has so clearly just defended. I have taken no steps other than sending an e-mail to his "exploratory committee" urging you not to run. I didn't break into any government office and destroy his application to run. I didn't block people from signing a petition asking him to run. I didn't do anything, other than express an opinion. If that truly is censorship, we've come a long way baby.
From the looks of the pre-announcement reaction, his committee did a fine job of ignoring public sentiment.
Steve Coll at the Washington Post delivers a blow to the 'Clinton didn't do enough to catch bin Laden' meme. It's surely to be ignored by the Ann Coulters on the right.
God has a plan, after all. This is what they say. He has an incredibly
obtuse and impossibly dense master blueprint that explains all the war
and death and burned babies in Iraq, all the cancer and animal cruelty
and Lynne Cheney, and you are just too small and unevolved to possibly
understand, or do anything about it. Right? Well, no.
I so knew it!
And no question became so clear, so obvious, as the one being asked by same-sex-marriage advocates around the world: What, really, is so wrong about this? What is the horrible threat about two adults who love each other so intensely, so purely, that they're willing to commit to a lifetime of being together and sleeping together and arguing over who controls the remote? And what government body dares to claim a right to legislate against it?
Word.
Jason@EFF has some copyright info that is downright depressing. Seeing Australia having to do the same thing to their public domain that we did here after the loss of Eldred v Ashcroft is just sad and frustrating at the same time.
Disney and large copyright holders are willing to take short term (20 year) gains in exchange for long term losses.
Dear Disney et al., Knock it off. Love, The Public Domain.
I went a little nuts this morning and finally dumped all the things I've been meaning to post at Forwarding Address: OS X. Topics include:
Touchscreen ballots don't have to be recounted
The Department of State has notified elections supervisors that touchscreen ballots don't have to be included during manual recounts because there is no question about how voters intended to vote.
While touchscreen ballot images can be printed, there is no need and elections supervisors aren't authorized to do so, Division of Elections Director Ed Kast wrote in a letter to Pasco County Supervisor of Elections Kurt Browning.

So, let me talk this out to see if I can get it right.
Blogger opens and people can make weblogs. Blogger Pro opens and offers RSS feeds. Free Blogger accounts get no RSS feeds, unless they make their own through 3rd party software.
Okay, I think I'm still on track.
Google buys Blogger. Not much seems to change. Then free Blogger offers Atom feeds while Blogger Pro gets to keep RSS and gets Atom. People go all tin foil hat.
Did I get it all? No, I didn't. Blogger has stopped taking orders as they retool their offerings. It seems any speculation as to what they are going to do is just that, speculation.
I try and try to stay away from this crap. But you know what it looks like? XML vs SGML. SGML was the huge oak from which all the XML acorns fell. They got all the press hype and the SGML people were left banging more SGML into emacs instead of getting press interviews and stock options.
It seems a a new program or three pop up every day that support Atom and it's only at 0.3. It's going to IETF. What's not to like? Ask the SGML guys...or leave a comment.
Update 2/14 10:32PM: Comments now closed. There are other places to talk about this if you must.
That's right folks, the world has officially come to an end. Please deposit trash in the bins on either side of the door as you exit.
San Francisco City Officials Perform Gay Marriages
As of this moment every last bit of "sancity" has been drained from the institution formerly known as "marriage." Gone are the days when...
See what I mean? The world did not end. Two people who care for each other very much can now legally divide their assets if they split up. Move along...
Four and a half hours of a seven hour Panther update had come across the wire when I really, really needed to send an email with a large attachment. Foolishly, I clicked “Pause” in the Apple Software Update dialog. Update threw away all four and one-half hours of updated code. Why does “pause” actually mean, “self-destruct”?
I always assumed a person as smart as Tog wouldn't apply the "it happened once to me, it must be universal" logic to a computer problem. I've used the pause/resume feature in Software Update numerous times and it's always worked like a charm. Am I alone in assuming that when I run into a problem that it may be specific to my computer before I start blaming the vendor or does that just make me an Apple apologist?
His import/export rants fall on deaf ears for me. Maybe it's because I've given up on a file system organization due to the sheer number of files I have. Although, to be fair, iTunes does a fine job of storing data in a logical file system structure and the library database is a XML file. Safari bookmarks might be a problem now, but Safari is young and most of the polish has been put in rendering and speed. I wonder if Tog asked anyone to put this in or if he just likes to rant -- I know I do. What about a browser that has the interface he likes built with WebKit? The release of WebKit is so overlooked in all the Apple ranting that it blows my mind.
As for iPhoto, the keywords and albums are essential for me in organizing my photos. Also the ability to create albums on data ranges is very nice. Tog likes Finder folders. I like my searchable GUI interface. I'm curious as to what format he would like the organization to be exported to. Maybe if the library was a XML file like in iTunes he would be happy. I don't want the Finder to be the interface for all my apps. But that's just me...and nobody cares what I think.
I have to spend the morning in Defensive Driver Training so that I can drive state vehicles. So let's dump a bunch of stuff out there and see what sticks:
- Comcast makes a hostile takeover bid for Disney. Holy cow.
- Microsoft Warns: Critical Flaw in Windows gets the "Not Really News Anymore" award
- The Kings won on the road last night
- Bush is entering a death spiral. It would be fun to watch if he wasn't screwing up the country. In my opinion the guy is a real jerk. I don't hate him, I just hate what is happening to the country on his watch. Don't worry though, just in time to save his sorry ass in the polls Mr. Greenspan squeaks out some good news. Lets hope he isn't just selling the party line, like he was with the tax cuts.
Tell your congress critter you think the PATRIOT Act needs a trim and that the worst parts need to be allowed to die in their sleep.
Implosion? Hardly. As we start to look back -- even though we aren't even to the convention -- we see what Dean was up against and getting attacked with. It's quite staggering when you start putting it all into perspective.
- Joe Trippi at Etech

Excuses, excuses. The tough survive. Blah blah blah. This is why normal people detest politics and politicians.
Never underestimate what a person would do to become President of the United States of America.
Feds Drop All Subpoenas Against Peace Protesters, University
DES MOINES, Iowa -- After almost a week of controversy, the U.S. attorney in Des Moines dropped four subpoenas against local peace protesters and one subpoena against Drake University Tuesday.
Now while I'm sure there were some actual facts behind what they were looking for, the scare tactic overtones were pretty heavy. The message should be clear though, do not be afraid to speak your mind. Do not be afraid to protest things you think are wrong. If you choose to break the law in doing so, do not balk at the consequences. Civil disobedience doesn't mean a get out of jail free card. If you're the Feds, stop trying to brow beat people into fear and submission.
The Progressive has a good run down on the issues involved.
Advertising Markup Language (AML) is a simple, very flexible text format derived from SGML (ISO 8879). Originally designed to meet the challenges of large-scale electronic advertising, AML is also playing an increasingly important role in the exchange of money for services or products on the Web and elsewhere.
Yes, I'm joking.
Excerpts of an Interview With Laura Bush
Q: Let me move back quickly to domestic stuff, the gay marriage decision in Massachusetts. What is your view on it?
LAURA BUSH: Well I think what the president says is that he just thinks it’s something that states and people want to be able to debate, and talk about. And just for the Massachusetts you know Supreme Court to rule that so everyone has to do what they say really isn’t fair, and that there needs to be more talk, and debate about it.
No. NO. NO! What they said was that perhaps, if two gay people wanted to get married, that perhaps the state shouldn't be able to make a law from stopping them. It's not as if the state Supreme Court approves of gay marriage. They just said it wasn't against the law, or rather that MA couldn't make a law against it. I'm not sure if that is a legal equivalent.
But Pat they said I had to get a gay marriage.
No they didn't.
But, but, but Pat, I don't want to have a gay marriage!
THEN DON'T!
You see when you talk these things out they become a little clearer don't they. That's called logic...
Queue up "Burning Issues" from Bill Hicks' Dangerous album for proper context.
"Marriage, ancient, sacred," and "Repent or perish," were just some of the catchy slogans gay marriage protesters were sporting on signs in Boston today. How quaint.
Maybe the solution is civil unions for everyone. There is so much legal baggage that goes along with and is intertwined with marriage that it is completely unfair, and unconstitutional in Massachusetts at least, to deny people that right. Everything from health care coverage to hospital visitation is wrapped up in the sticky wicket that is marriage.
One solution would be to separate Church and State in marriage for everybody. Both sides win, right? Yeah, I'm sure the Christian Right would go along with that.
It's still sad that we have to cover the area of government trying to deny rights to certain groups of people again and again.
After the voting purge fiasco, why is the fact that it might be hard to get publically available goverment documents in Florida. Those BoingBoing kids get all the hot tips don't they?
Public officials lied to, harassed and even threatened volunteers who were using a law designed to give citizens the power to watch over their government. In six counties, volunteers were erroneously told that the documents they wanted didn't exist.
"You can't secede from this Union, we're kicking your dumb asses out!"
I loved the list of reasons given for denying information:
- the volunteers' hair length
- casual dress
- in one case, "the look in his eyes."
Wait! It gets better!
Mary Kay Cariseo, executive director of the Florida Association of Counties, said people need to understand that making a public records request can be threatening to public officials.
"You're not looking at e-mails to do something good," she said. "You're trying to find something. You're trying to dig something up when we're trying to be good public servants and run our governments."
That's right kids...just because a law exists to help people see what their government is up to, doesn't mean should actually use it. In fact, by observing the government, you are actually harming it. The mind boggles at this. It's like Heisenberg gone mad. It doesn't pass the giggle test, let along the laugh test or the Clinton test.
This is it Florida! You're now on double secret probation. One more screw up and you are going to be expelled! Either that or California is going to break away and go hang with Hawaii. Alaska can come too.
The amazing MT-Textile 2 is out. It slices! It dices! It...well, you get the picture. I've been using the 2.0 beta for a few months and it's great. There is a ton of new stuff in the final release though. Brad was kind enough to put a tips sheet up for everyone.
Preface: I have not given up on Howard Dean. I would be delighted to have him be president.
After New Hampshire I told Ryan the thing I was least looking forward to was the "dot com bubble" comparisons that would be trotted out against Dean, and they are. Let me make this as clear as possible, the Internet was how I communicate with the Dean campaign. The Internet is not why I communicate with the Dean campaign. His message, ideas, and record are why I support Howard Dean. I don't support Dean because he has a blog. I don't support Dean because he takes money off the Internet. Those are merely tools of the campaign. They do not represent the heart of the campaign.
If the press is so incredibly fascinated with the use of the Internet, well then I guess there isn't much that can be done about that. But if I have to be subjected to a deluge of moronic coverage every time "the Internet" is used for something new, much like how we still hear about the the first black, latino, women, et cetera to fill a certain position, I may slit my wrists. But that is another rant on society that I have neither the skill or time to articulate, yet.
Go to Dean For America and read his stance on the issues and then tell me why Kerry, Clark, or Edwards would be better. Base these arguments on nothing but issues and record. Nothing personal, but if you think Bush is better than the four democratic candidates, save it. Go post it on tacitus or some such site.
Supporting Dean is not "stupid" as some have proposed. Nor was voting for Perot in '92 or Nader in '00. It is not stupid to vote your conscious. It is not stupid to support what you think to be right. Cutting off your nose to spite your face, that is stupid. I will support Dean as long as he is running, and he himself has already said he will not do anything to hurt the part and his main priority is to make sure George Bush does not get four more years to wreak havoc on America. Then when the nominee is chosen, that is who I will vote for in November.
It seems simple to me, I don't understand what all the fuss is about really. Obviously this is why I would make a horrible politician.
Bill is worried about how this whole "gay marriage" thing is going to affect the election. One of his commenters summed up my feelings quite well.
I find this whole cultural war issue so depressing and demoralizing it makes me want to flee the country. It's 2004 and we're still arguing about equal rights for a segment of the population? it's stupid and barbaric.
With the percentage of gay people in this country I would think you would be hard pressed to be more then 3 hops from a gay person. But numbers are beside the point. They are people. P-E-O-P-L-E. Human beings. They are not a "wedge issue" for an election. They are just normal, everyday people. Who want what all people want. To have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.
I can't really believe we have to cover this kind of thing. Again.
A wild book by Stephen Wolfram, A New Kind of Science, is now online. All of it. Text, images, you name it. All searchable and indexed. Not under a Creative Commons, but it's out there. There is also a $45 dead tree version.
Wolfram uses his approach to tackle a remarkable array of fundamental problems in science: from the origin of the Second Law of thermodynamics, to the development of complexity in biology, the computational limitations of mathematics, the possibility of a truly fundamental theory of physics, and the interplay between free will and determinism.
Excellent.
While I was working for EFF I never once got to get into a court room to see the lawyers do their thing. Well lucky for me, and everyone else, EFF was able to get and post audio from the MGM v. Grokster et al. appeal. I had read all the posts about what mad skillz Fred "Corner Case" von Lohmann showed in the case and how well the judges grasped the ideas. Now I get to listen for myself.
February 17th. This is the day Dean has said he has to win to move forward. This is the date of the Wisconsin primary.
I feel that Dean is the best candidate in the race. Not the "most electable," not the "best looking," and many other 'nots.' He is not some crazy, angry, ultra-liberal nutcase. Going over what he has done while governor and what his proposals are, not only domestically but on foreign policy as well, make me want to see Howard Dean be the president. I honestly think he would be great for the country as a whole and not just for a privileged few.
Here is how I personally rank the candidates:
- Dean
- Edwards
- Clark
- Kerry
Kucinich and Sharpton don't make the list because they have no chance of being the nominee.
If you think Dean would make the best president out of these four men I ask you to give what you can to help win Wisconsin.
Congrats to Cory on the launch of his latest book, Eastern Standard Tribe. You can download it or buy a dead tree version. You can even get autographed dead tree copies.
Forget the NFL. How about some highlights (QuickTime 850k) from our family football game at Thanksgiving!
Clearly George Bush, or his advisers (probably both) think that Americans are as dumb as rocks.
Bush Wants Probe to Get to Bottom of Iraq WMD
How many times can he say he wants to get to "the bottom" of something?
- 9/11
- Plame outing
- The extra $140 billion for Medicare
These are just the big ones. Could there be a bigger fib than President Bush saying he wants to know exactly what went wrong with the entire Iraq thing? It's insulting to even have to read headlines like this. To have this same, tired old line regurgitated to us by the White House over and over is shameful.
They hope and pray that you all sit around and wait for the inevitable whitewash report to come out that says George Bush is a good man and did the right thing. Oh, did I mention that I will be released after November to make sure if the puppets writing the report goof up and implicate Cheney or Bush that there is no election fallout.
I know, I know. I must sound like some tin-foil hat lunatic running around seeing the President behind every dirty deed done in America. If I am a lunatic, so be it. Nothing changes the fact that they think and hope you are dumb as rocks. If you still don't believe me, watch a White House press briefing by Scott McClellan and then tell me with a straight face that they don't think you are as dumb as a rock.
