S.W.A.T.
Short review: Matinee
Are there problems with S.W.A.T.? Of course there are. But since it's a "summer blockbuster" it's somehow not fair to point these out. So I'll focus on the upsides, which there are quite a few of, and ignore the downsides which seem to be common to most summer blockbuster releases. There was real suspense. There was action. There were characters who were stereotypical, yet innovative. There was at least some good dialogue. It had Josh Charles who I hadn't seen in anything since Sports Night.
