He's not heavy, he's my President
Powell Defends a First Strike as Iraq Option. The secretary of state said that the Bush administration has been unfairly characterized as unilateralist and opposed to treaties. By James Dao. [New York Times: NYT HomePage]
It's not so much a characterization as a statement of fact. I'm sure Ari would spin it such that the Bush administration is for "good" treaties. But to ignore the fact that nobody else in the world is supporting an attack on Iraq is stupid. If Bush thinks that war time will help his chances of a re-election, he better look at what this "war" will do to the economy.
