February Flooding

So in our front yard, across the street, is the Lindo Channel. It acts mainly as flood control for Big Chico Creek which, amazingly enough, runs through downtown Chico.

So when it rains, a lot of water is diverted down our way. Our house is pretty safe though. If the water is high enough to get to our house, then the rest of Chico is already washed away.
