The Day So Far

|

The cats have managed to break our cable TV. Not sure how, but I'm sure they are to blame.

Orkut is quickly sweeping around the net, even though the intention, I assume, was to keep it small by making it invite only.

People are making a stink about Surfin' Safari not working with Safari. I wonder if they ever wondered if a) Hyatt even cares b) maybe the site isn't finished or c) maybe it works with his development version of Safari. They could ask...or they just just post a bunch of snarky comments about how they don't want to pay for Panther. It's a free country.

While I was gone, Howard Dean lost Iowa. Actually he got killed in Iowa. People think it's a sign and are pilling on or jumping ship. It might be. But go ahead and name the last Democratic presidential candidate to win Iowa and the nomination. The polls in Iowa had him at the top, and he got creamed. That should tell you something about polls. I'm sticking with Dean. Then I'm going to vote for whichever donkey gets the nod. I just wish the candidates would avoid firing squads, circular or otherwise. Rove is taking notes and the general election is going to be an order of magnitude worse.

As badly as I want to use MT-Subcategories I can't help but worry about how MT 3 is going to handle it. I don't want to get all jazzed on this and find out it breaks everything going forward. Ah, but what's a little template hacking?

It's official, Content Scramble System is not a secret. Bunner countersues for a billion trillion dollars.

All the talk about candidates wives is really starting to bug me.

If you don't read Cursor, you should.

If you use Movable Type and don't use the Save button, you should.

Isn't "going berserk" what pundits do?

With all that we know about Bush 43, is it a shock to anyone that he doesn't want to read your e-mail? Hell, I bet I don't want to read your e-mail either.

The fact that wars are fought to make money shouldn't shock anyone either.

Bill Gates thinks he can beat spam. He probably also thinks Windows XP is a dandy OS and that Exchange is "Enterprise-level" software. Hey, I'm just sayin'...

Bush is going to campaign on fear. The only thing I fear is four more years of this garbage. The percentage of the country that Bush governs for is incredibly small, which means that almost half the country doesn't know they are really being left out. It may be denial. Whatever it is, I hope they snap out of it before November.

Dear Spirit, get well soon.
