Quicksilver Completed

I started reading Quicksilver in October of 2003. Today, I finished it.

Since Quicksilver is the first volume of the Baroque Cycle, the ending of Quicksilver leaves you much like the ending of Fellowship of the Ring.

I don't want to be rash in my review, but the Shaftoe stories are the only ones that kept my interest. Quite unlike Cryptonomicon in that sense, for me at least. In that tome, the Waterhouse stories were my favorites.

I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to the next volume or not. I guess I know when I get it and start reading.
