Other Opinions on Hulk
I went and saw it last night. The cinematography would very much please you...it's got alot of absolutely cool camera work. The story is good too, though some of the dialogue kindof seems to drag from time to time. But the camerawork is first rate effects stuff...it's really quite trippy.
You find yourself going "Whoah" alot.
It's like being inside a comic book in alot of ways. So really neat 'panel' shots like in comic books. Like the exact same scene going on in the main screen, with a window in the corner doing the exact same scene simultaneously, but from a totally different camera angle...
And panels with running video in them unfocusing to become part of the background.
There's one part where the entire screen wipes into a small panel in a corner, revealing another scene behind it, but then, a character from the scene behind the first steps _in front of_ the panel and the now-unfocused still-running panel becomes part of it's background. Or like, one character is looking at a picture in a photo album, and the photo 'comes alive' with running video in his hand, then the camera position pushes you into the photo.
There are lots of 3D pushing and pulling effect shots too. Like you'll be zoomed in on a cellular level with something, then it zooms out to like a part of the animal, then zooms waaaay out to a lab scene with the animal just a small part of it, then zooms waaaay out again to a huge research facility floor with lots of labs and you can still see the original animal...like the feeling that the camera has been zoomed from like 100 feet away from an animal close enough to see it's cellular structure in one camera shot.
My overall opinion: Excellent flick, well worth seeing. I give it two thumbs up your mom.
