PHP News Aggregator

Oh man...I'm not even done with the football pool code and already I'm off on another project. I'm going to implement a php news aggregator to mimick the Radio news aggregator. This will be web based, have user accounts and prefs, and have "Post to..." buttons for your weblogging system. The first one will be Movable Type because that's what I'm using right now, although it won't be hard to support the other systems.

There are already tons of sample code for PHP/RSS, so now all I need to do is wrap it up in a nice package. I'm kinda surprised that nobody has done it yet. Well, they probably have and I haven't found their project yet. But if I can't find it with google and freshmeat, it probably doesn't exist ;-)

But as promised, off to the football pool code. You guys are lucky that Reign of Fire doesn't show until 10:15 or my ass would be in a movie seat right now...
