Ashcroft eases domestic spy rules. Blaming "bureaucratic red tape" for the FBI's 9/11 failures, the top lawman essentially tells the public, "Trust us." Should we? [Salon.com]

The U.S.A. has a healthy mis-trust of the government. Let's not loose that as well.
